The primary focus of this website is to provide entertainment & information for all Southern Africans living in & around Bavaria! The "official" SA Stammtisch dates back to December 2000 when some okes managed to scramble a few email addresses together & the rest of the "Marketing" was done by skinner (word of mouth)! We were pleasantly surprised to have a turnout of more than 30 people for the event! The Stammtisch has never looked back since! The format of the Stammtisch has always been adapted to the time of year…well, almost always (it is not unusual for the hardcore braai-addicts to be flaming up some chops & wors during March or November!). Generally, we tend to have at braai's during summer, a visit to the Weinachtsmarkt in winter & get-togethers at various restaurants & pubs during the rest of the year.
